After completing my master's in political economy, I made a conscious choice to contribute to the energy transition. As a child, many of my holidays were spent in Zeeland, home of the Delta Works. Their scale and inventiveness have left a lasting impression on me, all these years later. Built to tame nature and keep the Netherlands liveable, they are a prime example of how a crisis can produce innovative solutions. With global warming, the Netherlands faces a new crisis, one that compels us all to reinvent the concept of energy.

I believe that alongside challenges, this also brings opportunities. What energises me are people who are willing to go the extra mile to accelerate the energy transition. With my background in data analysis and my experience delivering e-mobility solutions at a large energy company, I aim to make a tangible impact together with my fellow Krachtwerkers.
