When I saw An Inconvenient Truth twenty years ago, I knew I wanted to contribute to the fight against climate change. It soon became clear that you have to choose where you can make the biggest difference. For me, that is accelerating the energy transition through technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Over the past ten years, at international tech scale-ups such as Adyen and Sympower, I have seen how powerful that combination can be. My years at Sympower in particular were formative. Driven by the ambition to let companies actively contribute to a stronger energy system, I helped build and grow a Virtual Power Plant across several European countries.

As Head of Product and later Strategy and Innovation, I helped the company scale and diversify: from an industrial demand response platform to a multi-market optimiser active in balancing and wholesale markets, complemented by the launch of a large-scale energy storage proposition. My strength lies in combining the simplification of complex questions, translating them into clear solutions, and bringing people along with enthusiasm. I thrive in environments where I can use my product and tech leadership experience to accelerate growth.
