I have followed the energy transition throughout my career, and I look at it from a trading perspective. The question I ask myself is: how can electricity and flexibility markets contribute to the energy transition? The most recent question I am working on is how to add more flexibility to a system in which renewable generation capacity has grown enormously in recent years. I have more than fifteen years of experience in short-term trading on the electricity and gas markets.

I have followed the energy transition closely from the very beginning, from the first flexibility products to the deployment of batteries and algorithmic trading. I combine a strategic view with a sharp eye for detail, and I translate market opportunities into concrete results. At various employers I built up intraday trading teams and led them as team leader, with responsibility for strategy, operations and results. With this background, I help organisations, from producers and large consumers to trading parties and e-mobility players, to unlock flexibility and professionalise their processes.
